Today I had a ton of work that I am behind on so I needed to make QUICK LUNCH.  Something I could prepare in less than five minutes and walk away while it was ready. These vegetables are specifically detoxifying for your liver!

1 bunch asparagus

1 vidalia onion, sliced

PROCEDURE: Lightly toss with olive oil, salt and lemon. Roast in oven for 15 minutes at 400.

1 Large Artichoke

PROCEDURE: Steam for 20 minutes, peel and enjoy! (Remember to remove the “choke”).

Sauce for Dipping the artichoke:

1Tbsp Tamari (gluten free organic soy sauce)

1Tbsp Olive oil

Juice of 1/2 a lemon
