I for the past couple of days I have been walking around with this very strong craving for fresh nut butter. Our local organic farm, Glaser Farms makes an amazing Cashew Walnut butter that is heaven in a jar but alas, that meant waiting till Saturday’s Farmers Market to partake of this delight. Then I remembered… I am a chef, I can make it myself. (And so can you).

INGREDIENTS
1 cup walnuts
1 cup blanched almonds
1 cup cashews
1/4 cup honey
salt to taste

PROCEDURE
1. Soak nuts overnight.
2. Drain and press excess water out.
3. Place nuts in an Omega juicer, any expeller, Blender, Vitamix, etc.
4. Add honey and salt.
5. Relish in the delicious treat!!
