JUST THINKING…

Today I had a little sciatic nerve flare up. I have been running almost daily and it seems that isn’t great for sciatica. Ooops. So my beau very kindly drove me down to Mill Valley for an acupuncture appointment. While there, we decided to have dinner at a sustainable fish restaurant and a funny thing happened… we picked healthier items on the menu (a crab salad for him and a piece of cod on a bed of greens for me) and half way through mine I didn’t want anymore. And while he did finish his plate, we ended up commenting that we wish we would have eaten at home. Something about the fresh ingredients, the time it takes to prepare our meals thoughtfully, or I don’t know what it is. But our ten days so far of homemade meals just seemed so much tastier and more satisfying than a restaurant. Just musing about this and thought I’d share. I hope these 30 days of mine inspire you guys to cook and prepare meals together with your families. 🙂 Happy Tuesday.
