This was a definite experiment but I’ll share it anyways. Just goes to show that even culinary school doesn’t exempt you from making stuff that is on the fence… This plate is tempeh from last night, with freshly cooked cauliflower and a coconut masala sauce. What’s wrong with this dish? Well, I should have added more color. Some kale? Some red cabbage? So much white isn’t really eye catching. Secondly, the textures were too similar. It needed more crunch. Thank god for the sauce which at least have it some extra flavor and creaminess. So all in all, the point would be: just cook. Make it yourself, make it edible and have fun doing it. 🙂 In the end, while I wouldn’t call it a success, it was much better than eating fast food!
